Ok so you have swayed me with hair chat. but still. well i have this problem where i cut of my hair when drunk... think of how that would go if you were a na'vi...

Well, it's interesting because the connection with nature on Pandora (from the electric hair) is so cyborg-like. It's weird that a natural connection can stir images of (very unnatural?) machines.. Do you know what I mean??

I didn't think it was creepy at all. It made me feel wistful... we have so many AMAZING physical attributes, as do animals. I bet if we were more in tune with ourselves and nature we'd have some form of communication with them.

No seriously.. 'Best Use of Hair in a Film'.. Okay it's a little creepy, but totally award-worthy and *amazing*.

Wait.. you mentioned the creepy Avatar hair. I think it's the most amazing cinematic use of split ends *ever*. I'd love to jack in to the soul of a giant bird with hair, rather than condition and cut, condition and cut. The hair gets a thumbs up from me.

I think that the story line for being so much like fern gully or even Pocahontas was actually quite subversive at times. i did however want neytiri to lead the Na'vi rather then jake scully...

it is too derivative, we have seen this film before in so many different guises, theyw eren;t t aking any chances with this film, they even had Sigourney Weaver looking very 'Alien', I can;t beleive the box office it's doing

LOVED IT. It's the Star Wars of our time. I'm diggin' the spiritual jelly fish, the bioluminescent forest, and the day-glo war paint. I'm SOLD. I wanna be an Avatar. Take me to Pandora.
